Azure Active Directory SBA Application Registration

To allow the different SBA’s used within your tenant to read required data from Microsoft 365 you need to register an application for the SBA with Azure Active Directory.

For general information about the application registration in Microsoft’s Azure Active Directory, please check with Develop line-of-business apps for Azure Active Directory.

For anynode’s SBA registration you need the created application registration values Application (client) id and Client secret. This will be described in the chapter Microsoft Teams SBA Configuration from page 16.

Register the Application

For registering anynode as a Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) application in the Azure AD tenant, switch the portal view to App registrations and proceed with New registration.

Next, set an application name (here anynode_SBA) and select Single tenant as Supported account type.

For the Redirect URI (optional) settings, select Web and set the following URI: https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/nativeclient Once everything is configured, continue with Register.

The registered application for anynode is now being created. The Application (client) ID and Directory (tenant) ID is mandatory and will be requested by anynode’s Microsoft Teams SBA Assistant as shown and described in the in the chapter Microsoft Teams SBA Configuration
